So I'm joining this facebook project to send encouraging messages to Japan. And I'd like to express something like "Don't lose hope"
And I wonder if "Kibou o mottekudasai" or "Kibou o ushinaidekudasai" is the right way to express it?
I'm also thinking of how I should write it, just with kana or
"希望を持て下さい" or "希望を失ないで下さい"

A few small errors;
The kanji of the first one should be 希望を持って下さい, and the second one should be 希望を失わないで下さい。
So, the second one should be pronounced ‘ushinawanaide’, not ‘ushinaide’.
In my opinion, I think changing 下さい to ください would seem more natural, because the kanji version is used more for directions and formal cases.
So I suggest using 希望をもってください
and
希望を失わないでください.
