Hi I'm trying to study kanji, and one of the examples was 一かい, read as いつかい, which I thought meant "first meeting" but it didn't show up in the dictionary. What does it mean then?
Also, I looked up the kanji for かい, and it was 会. If I'm right, could these be connected this way 一会 ?
LOL this is only my first (and probably the easiest) kanji and I'm already asking for help haha :D

一かい would be read as いっかい。That’s probably why you couldn’t find it in the dictionary.

I think the example is supposed to be 一回, which means one time.
You would use it when you say, for example, ‘I’ve been there once’ -> 「一回行ったことある」
